It lacks the stability of the first game and the refinement of the third game. You do eventually get used to it and upgrading the right skills is crucial but really the moment to moment gameplay is at fault. For example, hitting a enemy in the back causes massive amounts of damage for no reason and this INCLUDES you as opposed to dark souls which allows you to do a backstab ANIMATION if you are behind the enemy and they haven't noticed you. Combat is not very fun and confusing, took too much inspiration from dark souls but in all the wrong ways. Somehow manages to be jankier and more exploitable than the first game by introducing physics and dodge rolling.

Also TONS of mods to spice things up including entire mission campaigns, I recommend the contract killer one I'm forgetting the name of, fully voice acted and a lot of fun. The game is very bleak and ugly looking due to the post apocalypse setting and that might be a turn off to some. Tons of memorable characters and companions. The combat is janky but still manages to be fun, especially when the gibs start flying everywhere. Heavily relies on skill checks DnD style. If you side with one faction, the enemy faction will hate you and hunt you down. Many different endings and factions to choose from, and unlike Bethesda's weaker trappings, actions actually have consequences. A huge open world with tons of quests that have multiple outcomes depending on what you believe your character to be like. If you want to really "role play" and get into it this is the game for you. They managed to take Bethesda's horrible excuse of an engine and make some thing amazing.

One of Obsidian's absolute best Action RPGs ever. All of those things said, this was the Witcher game I took the least amount of hiatuses from, the narrative is a bit more focused than the second one and easier to follow. The game has crashed on me multiple times on modern hardware. It also still has some bugs and the graphics have not aged well. The combat is clunky at first but once you get used to the rhythm it gets very fun. Some quests you sort of have to wiki though. This game also has much less hand-holding making discovering the solution to a quest a lot more rewarding when you figure it out which is probably the biggest trump card it has against the third game which relies on quest markers or "Witcher Sense" mostly. There are many quests where I wonder how it would've gone differently and that reveal ominous things about the third game. Not extremely long like the third entry but not as short as the second. Godlike quest design abounds and many decisions to be made.
#Ghostrunner keeps crashing ps4 series
While not as polished as the second or third entry and the most crpg like of the three, it still manages to be second best in the series in my opinion.
